Here are the terms for this pay calculator, in plain words. Use the site and you are accepting them; if you would prefer not to, don't.

What it is

A free calculator for converting between salary and hourly pay, and for raises, overtime and pay periods. Use it for personal planning at no cost.

Gross figures, not take-home

Every result here is gross pay, before tax and deductions. It does not work out your take-home, which depends on your tax code, benefits, pension and where you live. For net pay, use a payroll or tax tool for your country.

Accuracy

The arithmetic is standard and we take care with it, but we can't promise a figure fits your exact contract or hours. Check anything you will rely on, an offer, a budget, a negotiation, against your actual terms.

Fair use

Everyday use has no limits. Please don't hammer the site with bots, copy it wholesale, overload it, or use it unlawfully, so it stays quick for others.

Ownership

The layout, code and wording are ours. Plain facts, like a full-time year being 2,080 hours, belong to everyone and you may quote them. Just don't clone the whole site as your own.

We link to references. Follow one and you are on a separate site under its own terms and privacy rules, not these.

Availability and liability

The site is provided as it stands and as it happens to be up; features may change or pause without notice. Within the limits of the law the site comes without warranties, and we accept no liability for losses tied to using it or to any outage.

We may revise these terms; the copy on this page, dated at the top, is the one that applies.
